This policy describes how Gymcade ("we," "us") handles information when you use the Gymcade mobile app and this marketing website. If something here conflicts with Apple's policies or the in-app disclosures, follow the stricter rule or what you agreed to in the app.
Workout and account data (app)
Gymcade is built to keep your training log useful on your device. Workout data you enter is stored locally using on-device storage (e.g. SwiftData) unless you turn on optional sync features such as iCloud, in which case data may be processed according to Apple's iCloud terms and your Apple ID settings.
Exercise video previews (YouTube)
The app may show YouTube Shorts for exercise demonstrations in a restricted in-app view. That experience is only for playing curated preview content — it is not a general-purpose web browser and does not provide open navigation of the internet. Streaming may require an internet connection and may send requests to YouTube or Google (for example, to load or play video). How Google or YouTube handles information when you use their service is covered by their own policies. Gymcade does not use this feature to track your browsing outside the app.
What we may collect
- Information you provide directly (for example, profile or workout entries).
- Device or app diagnostics if you choose to share crash logs or feedback through Apple's systems.
- Basic technical data typical of mobile apps (e.g. app version) when needed to operate or improve the service.
This website
This site is mostly informational. Standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and request time) may be collected by whoever hosts the site. We do not use those logs to identify you unless needed for security or legal compliance.
How we use information
We use information to run Gymcade, fix bugs, improve features, and comply with law. We do not sell your personal workout log as a product.
Retention
Data on your device remains until you delete it or remove the app. If you use cloud sync, retention may follow Apple's iCloud practices and your device backups.
Your choices
You can delete app data from your device, adjust iCloud in Settings, or use Apple's privacy controls where applicable. Residents of certain regions may have additional rights (access, deletion, portability); email support@gymcade.net and we will respond in line with applicable law.
Children
Gymcade is not directed at children under 13. Do not use the app if you are under the age required by your region without a parent or guardian's involvement where required.
Changes
We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
